How to log in with a code

You don’t need a password to log in to YouGov on our website.

Instead, all you need to do is simply enter your email address at the log-in screen. We will then send you a one-time login code to access your account. This code works on any device where you can access your email.

Using a login code means one less password to remember and adds an extra layer of security to keep your account safe.

How the login code works

  • Once you enter your email address on the login page, a code is sent to your email from yougov@yougov.com.
  • It is valid for 10 minutes and can only be used once.
  • If the code expires or does not work, just request a new login code and try again.
  • To ensure you receive these emails, add yougov@yougov.com to your safe senders list so they don’t go to your spam or junk folders.

Didn’t receive the login email code?

If you see the message “Please check your email to complete your login” but no email arrives, you may be trying to log in through the wrong website for your country.

Please confirm you are using the correct YouGov URL. For example, if you are in the US, visit: yougov.com

If you are using the correct YouGov URL, please ensure the code hasn’t gone to your spam or junk folder.

If you have any further questions about the login process, please reach out to us through this form.

Thank you for being a YouGov member.
