YouGov Connections is an easy way to earn extra points by securely sharing your online activity with us. Instead of answering questions about what you watch, buy, or browse, Connections allows you to share this information automatically by connecting your online accounts to our platform.
Many members use Connections alongside surveys to earn hundreds of points each week. Once you unlock Connections — either through an invitation survey or email — the feature will automatically appear at the top of your account dashboard.

How does Connections work?
- Visit the “Connections” tab on your YouGov homepage.
- Install our secure Chrome extension (desktop only) or the mobile app.
- Choose the platform you want to share activity from (e.g., Netflix, Amazon, YouTube).
- Depending on the size of your activity history, it may take a few seconds up to around 50 minutes for your data to be shared with us. Once complete, no further data is shared until you choose to do so again.
- You’ll earn points each time you successfully connect an online account or re-reshare activity from a previously connect account.
